Manila: Oil companies will again implement upward price adjustments on Tuesday, given the impact of developments in the international market. In an advisory Monday, Caltex said prices of its gasoline products will increase by PHP0.35 per liter, diesel by PHP0.70 per liter, and kerosene by PHP0.50 per liter, effective 6:01 am on July 15.
According to Philippines News Agency, Petron will also increase gasoline prices by PHP0.70/L, PHP1.40/L for diesel and PHP0.80/L for kerosene. On the other hand, Seaoil and PTT Philippines will hike gasoline prices by PHP0.70 per liter and diesel by PHP1.40 per liter, effective 6 a.m. on the same day. At the same time, Seaoil will also hike the price of kerosene by PHP0.80 per liter.
Oil prices have been on the rise again in the international market, partly on worries that the US will impose tougher sanctions on Russia, a major oil producer.
