Pag-IBIG Achieves 14th Consecutive Unmodified Opinion from COA

Manila: The Pag-IBIG Fund has received an unmodified opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the 14th consecutive year.

According to Philippines News Agency, the unmodified opinion pertains to Pag-IBIG's financial statements for the years ending December 31, 2025, and 2024. This opinion, COA's highest audit rating, signifies that the financial statements are presented fairly and in compliance with the applicable financial reporting framework.

Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, who chairs the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, highlighted that the recognition underscores the agency's dedication to sound governance and financial management. He noted that strong governance positions Pag-IBIG Fund as financially stable and responsive to its members' needs while supporting President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s initiative to enhance homeownership accessibility through the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).

The audit rating follows Pag-IBIG's record financial performance in 2025, with total assets amounting to PHP1.23 trillion. The year also saw members' savings collections reaching PHP160.41 billion, housing loan releases at PHP140.54 billion, short-term loan releases totaling PHP94.16 billion, and net income before MP2 dividends at PHP65.28 billion. Moreover, the fund declared PHP64.34 billion in member dividends.

Pag-IBIG Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta stated that the latest COA opinion confirms the fund's ability to achieve its financial outcomes while upholding integrity, accountability, and transparency. She affirmed Pag-IBIG's commitment to expanding members' savings, offering affordable cash loans, and facilitating homeownership for more Filipinos through its housing loan programs and the Expanded 4PH Program.
