Manila: Malaca±ang said Tuesday there is no information so far on the rumored reorganization of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Cabinet, amid reports of another shakeup in key government posts. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro stated that they have not received any official information regarding a possible Cabinet revamp, emphasizing that reports circulating online may simply be rumors.

According to Philippines News Agency, an online news report earlier claimed that the President was preparing his "most extensive Cabinet shakeup yet," suggesting that at least nine officials stand to be affected. However, Castro mentioned that a performance evaluation of Cabinet officials remains ongoing, highlighting that this is a regular process under the administration.

'Depende na po 'yan kung ano po ang makikita ng Pangulo pero as of now, wala po tayong nababalitaan, wala pong ipinararating na magkakaroon po ng Cabinet revamp (It will depend on what the President sees fit, but as of now, we have not heard anything and no information has been conveyed that there will be a Cabinet revamp)," she said.

Speculation about a possible reshuffle resurfaced following previous Cabinet changes under the Marcos administration. In May last year, the President directed all Cabinet members to submit their courtesy resignations, triggering a major revamp that saw the replacement and reassignment of several secretaries in key agencies. Another round of changes followed in November, when the President replaced the Executive Secretary and the heads of the Department of Finance and the Department of Budget and Management.
