Manila: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Sunday celebrated the achievements of Filipino students excelling in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and vowed that his administration will continue to invest in and support innovation and technology. In his weekly vlog posted on social media, Marcos expressed pride on Filipino students who bagged awards in international STEM competitions. The President underscored the critical role of STEM education in the modern technological landscape, citing its application to almost every facet of human life. 'Mahalaga 'yan dahil ang STEM subjects ang pinagbabasehan ngayon ng lahat bagong teknolohiya. Alam naman natin na ang lahat ng buhay natin ay dumarami ang involvement ng bagong teknolohiya (That is important because STEM subjects are now the basis of all new technologies. We know that in our lives, we are increasingly reliant with new technology),' Marcos said.
