PH Army Unveils New Two-Story Modular Facility for Troops in Taguig

Taguig city: The Philippine Army (PA) has inaugurated a new two-story modular quartering facility for its personnel at the headquarters in Fort Bonifacio. The turnover ceremony, led by Army chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, marked a significant enhancement in the living conditions for troops stationed at this strategic location.

According to Philippines News Agency, the facility, designed to accommodate 60 personnel, is equipped with air-conditioning units, beddings, and lockers, providing much-needed comfort to members of the Army's Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group. PA spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala highlighted these features during the facility's blessing and turnover rites, which took place on Tuesday.

Lt. Gen. Nafarrete emphasized the importance of providing soldiers with safe and comfortable living spaces, noting that such conditions enable them to focus on their duties and perform tasks with dedication and professionalism. He remarked that the completion of this facility addresses the pressing billeting needs of Army personnel effectively.

Furthermore, Nafarrete reiterated the PA's commitment to supporting its personnel through various morale and welfare initiatives. These programs are part of a broader effort to ensure that the Army's greatest asset-its people-receive the support they need to carry out their mission.
