Butuan city: The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation-Caraga Region (PhilHealth-13) announced on Tuesday that it disbursed a total of PHP588.84 million in claims to health facilities across the region in July. This payment was made for 45,474 processed claims from various hospitals and clinics.
According to Philippines News Agency, PhilHealth-13 emphasized its commitment to providing responsive and timely service, achieving an average turn-around time (TAT) of 6.28 days. This regional TAT significantly surpassed the national average of 10.19 days.
PhilHealth-13 reiterated its dedication to supporting healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth delivery of universal health care in the region. The agency expressed appreciation for its partner health facilities, acknowledging their role in maintaining accessible, reliable, and efficient financial protection for Caraga residents.
In comparison, the agency disbursed PHP526.84 million in June, covering 42,433 claims, highlighting a consistent pace in processing and payments throughout the region.
