PNP Announces New Assignments for Senior Officers in Organizational Revamp

Manila: Three ranking police officials have been included in the latest reorganization of the Philippine National Police (PNP). In an order dated July 18 and made public Sunday, PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III designated Brig. Gen. Erickson Dilaga as regional director of Police Regional Office (PRO) Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR); Brig. Gen. Ronald Gayo as chief of Firearms and Explosive Office (FEO); and Brig. Gen. Rogelio Raymundo Jr. as Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO 3 (Central Luzon). The reshuffle took effect July 21.

According to Philippines News Agency, 11 officials with the rank of police colonels received new assignments. Col. Arvin Alcantara from Directorate for Logistics will be transferred to Directorate for Plans (DPL); Col. Richard Bad-Ang from Criminal Investigation and Detection Group will be headed to PRO-4A (Calabarzon); Col. Harold Depositar from DPL to PNP Academy (PNPA); Col. Jay Dimaandal from PRO3 to PRO Negros Island Region; Col. Wilson Doromal from DPL to Office of Chief PNP (OCPNP); Col. Frederick Obar from to DPL; Col. Ariel Red from CIDG to PRO-4A; Col. Nelvin Richohermoso from PRO5 (Bicol) to PRO 10 (Northern Mindanao); Col. Julius Suriben from PRO-4A to DL; Col. Alikhan Yusop from PRO9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) to the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR); and Col. Micahel Rae Tuscano from National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to PRO7 (Central Visayas). The new designations took effect July 17.
