Police Operations in Bicol Lead to Arrest of 40 Drug Suspects and Seizure of Nearly PHP3 Million in Illegal Drugs.

LEGAZPI CITY: The Police Regional Office-Bicol (PRO-5) has successfully arrested 40 drug suspects and confiscated nearly PHP3 million worth of illegal drugs during a series of anti-drug operations conducted from November 4 to 10. According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-5 spokesperson Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib reported that the 26 anti-drug operations resulted in the seizure of 429.059 grams of shabu across the region's six provinces and one component city. Albay emerged as the area with the highest value of confiscated drugs, totaling PHP1.25 million. Following Albay, the provinces of Masbate and Camarines Sur recorded drug seizures valued at PHP768,400 and PHP510,326.40, respectively. Meanwhile, Camarines Norte accounted for PHP339,320 worth of drugs, Naga City for PHP40,460, and Sorsogon for PHP5,100. No drugs were seized in Catanduanes. PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen.
