Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to start on Friday the four-day drainage construction activities along a portion of the second lane of R. Magsaysay Boulevard - Westbound in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
According to Philippines News Agency, the DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office announced in a social media post on Thursday that the works will commence at 10 p.m. on March 7 and are expected to conclude by March 11. The construction activities will affect a three-meter stretch of the westbound lane, although the remaining portions will still be accessible to all types of vehicles.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic slowdowns in the vicinity of the construction. The public is encouraged to use alternate routes, including Paltok Street, Lardizabal Street, and M. Dela Fuente Street, to avoid congestion in the area.
