DAVAO CITY: In a concerted two-week operation, the Police Regional Office-Davao Region (PRO-11) successfully arrested 173 wanted individuals, including 14 from the top 10 most wanted lists across different levels, between December 9 and 22.

According to Philippines News Agency, the operation marked a significant achievement for PRO-11, with the apprehension of notable fugitives, including Victor Sicutan Lim, a suspect in a rape case and ranked third on the region's most wanted list. The initiative also saw the service of 181 arrest warrants, underscoring the law enforcement agency's commitment to public safety and justice.

Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete, Director of PRO-11, commended the police personnel for their relentless pursuit of fugitives and emphasized the importance of continued law enforcement efforts. In a statement released Monday, Rosete expressed gratitude for the support from the community, which played a crucial role in the operations' success.

"The successful operations reflect the dedication of police personnel to pursue justice and ensure public safety through relentless efforts in tracking and apprehending fugitives," Rosete stated. He also reiterated PRO-11's commitment to upholding security, enforcing the law, and delivering justice to those who violate it.
