Central luzon: The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) has intensified its internal cleansing campaign, resolving 73 administrative cases involving 98 personnel from Jan. 1 to April 30.
According to Philippines News Agency, records show that 13 personnel were dismissed from the service, 36 were suspended, 17 were exonerated or found not guilty, five received reprimands, and two were demoted. The cases involved 20 police commissioned officers, 77 police non-commissioned officers, and one non-uniformed personnel, underscoring PRO-3's strict enforcement of accountability across all ranks.
PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez emphasized that maintaining discipline within the organization remains a key priority for credible and effective policing. "Discipline within the ranks is non-negotiable. We will hold accountable those who violate the law, while ensuring that due process is strictly observed," Mendez said in a statement Friday.
He added that the ongoing implementation of internal disciplinary measures aims to reinforce public trust and strengthen the integrity of the police force throughout Central Luzon.
