Pampanga: Tropical cyclone Ada has weakened into a remnant low, the weather bureau said Wednesday. This low pressure area was last tracked 1,285 kilometers east of Central Luzon.
According to Philippines News Agency, it is forecast to dissipate within the next 48 hours, PAGASA said. Meanwhile, PAGASA noted that the northeast monsoon continues to bring strong to gale-force gusts across most of Luzon, Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the provinces of Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi.
Gale warning is in effect over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Southern Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA said.
