Three Arrested, PHP6.7 Million Worth of Shabu Seized in Bulacan and Bohol Operations

Bulacan: Three suspects, including two high-value individuals, were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Bulacan and Bohol, with authorities confiscating PHP6.7 million worth of suspected shabu.

According to Philippines News Agency, Col. Angel Garcillano, acting Bulacan Police Director, reported that a buy-bust operation conducted at past 8 a.m. in Barangay Virgen Delas Flores, Baliwag City, resulted in the arrest of 45-year-old Rex, identified as a high-value individual. The operation led to the seizure of 475.5 grams of suspected shabu, valued at over PHP3.2 million. The drugs were found in multiple plastic packs, including one labeled 'Freeze-dried Durian.' Buy-bust money and other paraphernalia were also recovered during the operation.

In a separate operation in Barangay Cabulihan, Tubigon, Bohol, the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group arrested two suspects, identified as Wel, aged 51, and Botyok, aged 25. This operation, conducted early on the same day, resulted in the recovery of 520 grams of suspected shabu, worth PHP3.5 million. Both suspects are now in police custody, facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
