Three Police Chiefs and Mobile Force Head Reshuffled for Career Development

Antique: Three chiefs of police and a mobile force commander have been reshuffled in the Antique province as part of efforts to support career development and address overstaying in positions. This reshuffle took effect on July 8, as announced by the Antique Provincial Police Office (APPO) Information Officer Lt. Col. Willy Diel.

According to Philippines News Agency, the reshuffling involves key changes in several municipal police stations. Capt. Jaime Nerviol Jr. has been appointed as the officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Pandan Municipal Police Station, succeeding Capt. Jomel Salarda, who has taken on the role of Deputy Chief of Police in Sibalom. Additionally, Capt. Jerry Puyong Jr. is now the OIC of San Remigio, replacing Capt. Ramil Hocog Jr., who has been assigned as the OIC of Tibiao.

Lt. Col. Diel noted that the commander of the 1st Police Mobile Force will be attending schooling for career development purposes. He also mentioned that further reshuffling of positions among chiefs of police in other towns within the province is anticipated in the coming days.

Lt. Col. Diel emphasized the importance of the chiefs of police performing well to maintain peace and order and address criminality effectively. He also urged the public to contact 911 for immediate police assistance during emergencies and highlighted that the police force regularly conducts simulation exercises to ensure they meet or exceed their five-minute response time.
