Manila: Global information and insights company TransUnion has announced the appointment of Peter Faulhaber as the new president and chief executive officer of TransUnion Philippines. Faulhaber will oversee the operations of the Philippine office under the supervision of Marie Claire Lim Moore, the Asia-Pacific Regional President at TransUnion, and will report to the Board of TransUnion Philippines.
According to Philippines News Agency, Faulhaber expressed his enthusiasm for joining TransUnion, highlighting the company's commitment to driving financial inclusion in the Philippines through innovation and insights. He emphasized the role TransUnion has played in enabling Filipino consumers to access the formal financial system, contributing to opportunities in business and communities. Faulhaber aims to use his expertise in the financial industry to enhance financial knowledge and resilience in the nation, allowing consumers to access credit responsibly and achieve significant goals.
Faulhaber brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, including the Philippines. Prior to joining TransUnion Philippines, he served as the head of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC Philippines and was the vice-chairperson at HSBC Investment and Insurance Brokerage Philippines. He holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, a prominent graduate business school.
