Quezon city: Top performers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) and Spikers' Turf will be honored during the 2nd Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night at Novotel Manila Araneta City on May 30. Major awardees will receive the Mark Ron Casta±eda-designed trophy featuring a figure in spiking motion to represent their skills.

According to Philippines News Agency, the special awardees will have a trophy with a golden ball, recognizing their invaluable performance and contribution to their teams' success. To be named are season Most Valuable Players, Mythical Teams, and Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year for both tournaments.

The Pilipinas Live Game of the Year Award will be given to the most heart-stopping match of the season. Other citations include Rookie of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year Award, Miss Quality Minutes, Most Improved Player, and Fair Play Award. The Star of the Night will go to the best-dressed awardee.

Members of the Alas Pilipinas beach volleyball team will receive special recognition for their historic gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok. The team, comprising Sisi Rondina, Bernadeth Pons, Dij Rodriguez, and Sunny Villapando, secured the country's first-ever gold in the biennial event and ended host Thailand's eight-edition reign.
