1.5K to Take PNP Entrance, Promotion Tests in Pangasinan Town

Lingayen: The National Police Commission (Napolcom) is set to conduct the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations for around 1,500 civilians and uniformed personnel in Lingayen town, Pangasinan on April 27 this year.

According to Philippines News Agency, Napolcom Pangasinan provincial chief lawyer Phillip Raymund Rivera stated that online registration and application processing began on March 3 at noon and will continue until March 7. He noted that as of the latest update, only 250 slots are still available.

The entrance exam is open to Filipino citizens aged 21 to 30 with a four-year college degree. Meanwhile, the promotional exam is for eligible police officers from the first to fourth-class ranks. Rivera explained that the examination was brought to the province due to the high number of examinees from Pangasinan, accounting for 60 to 66 percent of applicants in the Ilocos Region.
