11 PNP Senior Officers Receive Promotions in Camp Crame Ceremony

Quezon City: Some 11 police senior officers, including Public Information Office (PIO) Chief Col. Randulf Tua±o, were promoted one rank higher, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.

According to Philippines News Agency, based on the memorandum issued May 28, Tua±o received his star rank after he was promoted to brigadier general, while 10 lieutenant colonels will be promoted to full-fledged colonels. These officers include Lt. Colonels Vicente Oligario Amante, Jeffrey Bonaobra Bilaro, Cheryl Paler Yatar, Mark Anthony Melmida Andrade, Regina Narag Basco, James Mejorada Dime, Christel Marie Calumpit Nobleza, Benjamin Aguirre Cruto Jr., Eric Reyes De Venancio, and Roger Ubongen Mangaoang.

Tua±o, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 1995, has a four-month stint as PNP information chief. He also served as PNP deputy director for administration, Finance Service, and as the former chief of the General Mariano Alvarez Police Station.

The donning of ranks ceremony was held at Camp Crame on Thursday.
