12 Drug Suspects Arrested in Bulacan, PHP629-K ‘Shabu’ Seized

Bulacan: Bulacan police arrested 12 individuals and confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP629,340 in a series of intensified anti-illegal drug operations. Col. Angel L. Garcillano, acting director of the Bulacan provincial police, reported that the operations yielded 28 sachets of suspected shabu.

According to Philippines News Agency, six drug suspects, identified only by their aliases Ape, Jayson, Irene, Jerome, CJ, and JM, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banga 1st, Plaridel, Bulacan at about 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Police seized from them 12 sachets of suspected shabu valued at PHP387,600.

In another operation, the Guiguinto Police arrested three drug pushers identified as 'Kim,' 'Denden,' and 'Russel' in Barangay Sta. Rita at about 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Nine sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP169,000 were seized from them.

Three more drug pushers were arrested by operatives of the San Jose del Monte and Bustos municipal police stations in separate operations on Tuesday. Seven sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of PHP72,760, were confiscated from them.

"All the arrested suspects are now in police custody and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002," Garcillano said.
