Antique: Around 98 percent of the 5,106 members of Electoral Boards (EBs) and support staff who served during the May 12 midterm elections in Antique have already received their honorarium, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Comelec Acting Assistant Regional Director and concurrent Antique Provincial Election Supervisor, Lawyer Wil Arce±o, stated that they began distributing the honorarium immediately following the canvassing on May 12.
According to Philippines News Agency, Arce±o mentioned that some municipalities have already completed the distribution of honorarium to those who participated in the national and local elections in 2025. The honorarium amounts range from PHP8,000 to PHP12,000, varying based on the positions held during the election process.
Arce±o noted that Comelec has a 15-day window to finalize the honorarium distribution and urged those who have not yet collected their payments to visit their respective municipal election offices. Meanwhile, Arce±o also mentioned the ongoing wait for provincial candidates to submit their Statement of Campaign Expenditures (SOCE). Reelected Representative Antonio Agapito Legarda has already filed his SOCE shortly after his proclamation on May 14, but other candidates have yet to submit their documents.
