ADB Avenue Faces Temporary Closures Until February 2025 for Safety Improvements

Manila: Partial closures along ADB Avenue began Monday as part of road safety upgrades by the Department of Transportation, Department of Public Works and Highways, and Ortigas Center Association, Inc.

According to Philippines News Agency, the road works include upgrading pedestrian crossings and constructing speed tables to enhance pedestrian safety and improve accessibility. The Department of Transportation stated that temporary lane closures will be implemented during the construction period, which will proceed in phases. The project is targeted for completion in February 2025.

The advisory urged motorists to plan their travels to the area in advance due to expected delays caused by the road closures. Officials asked for public patience and cooperation as they work to create safer and more accessible roads for everyone.
