Iba: All four individuals on board a trainer aircraft involved in an "incident" at Iba Airport are safe and have been transported to a hospital, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported.
According to Philippines News Agency, CAAP did not specify whether the aircraft had crashed or provide details about the exact location of the incident. "We cannot identify the nature of the incident yet because the investigation is still ongoing," stated CAAP information officer Bea Bernardo.
The Cessna aircraft, with registry RP-C2211, was on a training flight from Subic when the incident transpired, as per CAAP's statement. "All individuals on board are conscious and are being brought to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation," CAAP added.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board will be conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
