Bicol Police Recognize Officers for Community Relations Excellence

Legazpi city: The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) recently honored 10 police officers for their exemplary service and significant contributions in enhancing police-community relations. This recognition took place during the 32nd Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day celebration held at the PRO-5 Grandstand in Camp BGen Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City.

According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-5 acting Regional Director Brig. Gen. Erosito Miranda emphasized that the awards underscore the PNP's dedication to maintaining integrity, discipline, and excellence. These values serve as the foundation for a responsive and community-focused police force. He noted that the awardees exemplify the dual mission of the police unit: to maintain peace and order while safeguarding the welfare and safety of the communities they serve.

The recipients of the Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisiya were Police Master Sergeant (PMSg) Yumie Barante, Staff Sergeant (SSg) Zaldy Mirabuenos Jr., SSg Jose Pacheco, Corporal (Cpl) Reymart Briol, Cpl Crisol Furigay, Capt. Ni±o Luzon, Chief Master Sergeant Bonifacio Manacob Jr., SSg Jonah Quien, SSg Angelica Salando, and Patrolman Jhay Andrew Alcantara.
