Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) announced that the second round of public auction for four luxury vehicles seized from contractor couple Pacifico and Cezarah Discaya will take place on December 5. In a social media post, the agency stated that the public auction, conducted through sealed bidding, will commence at 10 a.m. at the BOC main office in Port Area, Manila.
According to Philippines News Agency, the auction will feature one unit each of a 2022 Toyota Tundra, 2023 Toyota Sequoia, 2023 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and 2022 Bentley Bentayga. The combined value of these vehicles is PHP17.3 million. The Auction and Cargo Disposal Division of the Port of Manila will oversee the proceedings, with public viewing available for qualified bidders on December 2 and 3.

Previously, on November 20, the government earned PHP38,211,710 from the sale of three other luxury vehicles confiscated from the Discaya couple, who are linked to flood control controversies. The vehicles sold included a 2019 Mercedes-Benz G500 Brabus and a 2022 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG purchased by Simplex Industrial, as well as a 2022 Lincoln Navigator acquired by Lestrell Jewelries.
