Manila: The Department of Tourism (DOT) on Wednesday unveiled its new BINI and SB19 travel microsites, featuring the group members' recommended destinations and exclusive DOT-curated tour packages. The initiative aims to attract fans of the popular groups to explore the Philippines through the artists they admire.
According to Philippines News Agency, the microsites, accessible at tourism.gov.ph, provide a platform for BINI and SB19 fans to discover the beauty of the Philippines. Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay highlighted the influence of these artists in driving tourism and economic activity. She emphasized that fans traveling to see their favorite artists often contribute to the local economy by staying in hotels, dining at local restaurants, and exploring nearby attractions.
The microsites also offer interactive features that allow fans to engage directly with BINI and SB19 members. This initiative is part of the second phase of the Discover More To Love domestic tourism campaign, launched in June 2026. The campaign seeks to stimulate domestic travel through discounted fares, hotel rates, and attraction fees.
BINI and SB19 were recently appointed as the Philippines' new tourism ambassadors, further solidifying their role in promoting domestic tourism.
