According to Philippines News Agency, the vehicle's owner, Gladys Gonzales, has been issued a show-cause order, requiring her to appear before the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Central Office in Quezon City. This summons is scheduled for Wednesday and aims to determine whether she should face charges related to the incident.

Gonzales could potentially face administrative charges, including reckless driving, failure to wear a seatbelt, permitting a child to sit in the front seat, and allowing an improper person to operate a vehicle. These charges highlight the seriousness of the situation and the potential breaches of road safety regulations.

The order further states that the MG Sedan involved in the incident, identified by conduction sticker number RP915A, is currently under alarm while the investigation is ongoing. This measure reflects the severity of the violations observed in the video.

The video, which was posted on the Threads social media platform on Saturday, features the driver of an MG sedan with a child on his lap, operating the vehicle in Butuan City. Both individuals were seen not wearing seatbelts, raising significant safety concerns.
