Aplaten noted, "Some of those residing with friends, relatives, and evacuation centers are still facing safety risks at their homes, that is why they cannot yet return."

The enhanced southwest monsoon, along with tropical cyclones Crising, Dante, and Emong, affected a total of 46,360 families or 180,735 individuals in the region. The severe weather resulted in 46 houses being totally destroyed and 278 houses partially damaged, as reported by DSWD-CAR.

Benguet, Baguio City, and Mountain Province witnessed the majority of the housing damage. Aplaten emphasized, "We will continue to monitor the situation because while we do not have a (cyclone) right now, the fact that the soil has been saturated might still pose risks (to residents)."
