DTI and WomenBizPH Sign Six-Year Agreement to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

Manila: A six-year pact that will help further empower women entrepreneurs was signed between the officials of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the WomenBizPH on Monday, ensuring financing and capacity building for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

According to Philippines News Agency, the memorandum of agreement outlines that the DTI will provide training, slots in trade exhibits, and participation in women-focused economic and business meetings at regional and international levels through Negosyo Centers. WomenBizPH will establish representation in DTI regional offices, provide updates on business trends, industry developments, and challenges affecting women in business, and develop a mentorship hotline for women-led enterprises.
