Los ba±os: Some 50 electric posts in Los Ba±os will be relocated to help ease chronic traffic congestion along routes connecting Laguna province's Third and Fourth Districts. Governor Sol Aragones had conducted an ocular inspection, along with Los Ba±os Mayor Neil Nocon, and representatives of the Manila Electric Company and the Department of Public Works and Highways.
According to Philippines News Agency, the inspection showed at least 50 electric posts occupy road space and hinder smoother traffic flow. Governor Aragones emphasized that motorists should not have to suffer from electric posts blocking the road. She stated that the obstructions are among the primary causes of bottlenecks, particularly during rush hours. By relocating the electric posts, an additional lane can be made available for vehicles.
Governor Aragones further elaborated that freedom of navigation is not just a matter of convenience, but an essential aspect of effective public service and economic development for the province. The relocation of these electric posts is seen as a crucial step toward improving traffic conditions and supporting the overall growth and development of the Laguna province.
