New Police Regional Office Director Takes Command in Caraga Region

Butuan city: Brig. Gen. Marcial Mariano Magistrado IV officially assumed his role as director of the Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) on Wednesday. He succeeded Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano, who has been appointed to lead the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group. The turnover of command was overseen by Maj. Gen. Neri Vincent Ignacio, the acting chief of the Directorial Staff of the Philippine National Police.

According to Philippines News Agency, Magistrado expressed his commitment to uphold the Constitution and serve the Filipino people with nationalism and integrity as he embarks on his new role. He emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and excellence among PRO-13 personnel in fulfilling their mission.

The event was attended by governors, mayors, heads of line agencies, and other law enforcement officials in the region. Magistrado called for the cooperation of all stakeholders, including local government units and partner agencies, highlighting the necessity of their involvement in maintaining peace, order, and promoting sustainable development in the region.
