New Regional Director Aradanas Pledges Compassionate Leadership at DSWD-11

Davao: The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Davao (DSWD-11) welcomed its new regional director, Engr. Rhuelo Aradanas, during a turnover ceremony on Wednesday. Aradanas took over leadership responsibilities from Merlinda Paragamac, the outgoing officer-in-charge regional director, who now serves as Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO).

According to Philippines News Agency, prior to this appointment, Aradanas headed the Anti-Red Tape Authority's Eastern Mindanao office. He previously ensured DSWD-11's compliance with the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act (Republic Act 11032). His role involved guiding local government units (LGUs) in streamlining public service procedures and improving bureaucratic transparency.

During the ceremony, Aradanas addressed DSWD-11 personnel, emphasizing the importance of compassion and integrity in public service. 'You are the heart of the agency, and I am here to work with you. Let us serve the public with compassion and integrity,' he stated.

Aradanas also urged employees to unite and work collaboratively to deliver social welfare services efficiently. 'Let us move forward together because every life is important for DSWD,' he added, highlighting his vision for a unified and responsive agency.
