Oil Firms Announce Fuel Price Hike of Up to PHP1.20 Per Liter

Manila: Fuel prices will rise again on Tuesday, with increases reaching up to PHP1.20 per liter, oil companies announced Monday.

According to Philippines News Agency, in separate advisories, Seaoil and PTT Philippines stated that they will raise gasoline prices by PHP0.60 per liter and diesel prices by PHP1.20 per liter, effective 6 a.m. Seaoil also mentioned an increase in kerosene prices by PHP1.20 per liter.

This marks the seventh consecutive week of fuel price increases, attributed to ongoing supply concerns as geopolitical issues persist in the Middle East. Last week's adjustments saw gasoline prices rise by PHP1.20 per liter, diesel by PHP0.60 per liter, and kerosene by PHP0.60 per liter.
