Oil Firms Announce New Round of Price Hikes for Petroleum Products

Manila: Oil firms have announced another round of oil price hikes for Tuesday. In separate advisories, Seaoil and Shell Pilipinas said gasoline prices will increase by PHP0.40 per liter, diesel by PHP1.10 per liter, and kerosene by PHP0.70 per liter, effective 6 a.m.

According to Philippines News Agency, PTT will also increase the price of gasoline by PHP0.40/L and diesel by PHP1.30/L. Meanwhile, Caltex will hike the gasoline price by PHP0.20/L, diesel by PHP0.75/L, and kerosene by PHP0.50/L, effective 6:01 a.m.

This marks the second consecutive week that oil companies will raise prices across these products, influenced by developments in the international market. Authorities and analysts have earlier forecast more upticks in the prices of oil products due to factors such as the impact of the United States' tariff policies and energy demand.
