PAL to Resume Beijing Flights March 30

Manila: Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume flights to Beijing starting March 30. The thrice-weekly direct services will operate via the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to Philippines News Agency, PAL president Stanley Ng stated that the Manila-Beijing service will help boost tourism, enhance trade, and deepen the friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people. Ng also mentioned that this initiative is part of PAL's effort to strengthen air links to the Chinese mainland. PAL had discontinued services to and from Beijing in October 2024 due to low demand.

With the resumption of these services, PAL is set to have the widest network connecting the Philippines and mainland China. Apart from Beijing, PAL operates flights from Manila to Shanghai, Xiamen, and Quanzhou. The flights between Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport will utilize Airbus A321 aircraft, accommodating between 168 to 199 passengers.

Scheduled flights will depart every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. The Manila-Beijing flight is set for 6:55 a.m., while the return flight from Beijing to Manila is scheduled for 12:55 p.m.
