PAL Tops Asia Pacific Punctuality Rankings for 2025

Manila: Global aviation analytics firm Cirium has named Philippine Airlines (PAL) as Asia Pacific's most on-time airline in 2025. The flag carrier achieved an on-time arrival performance of 83.12 percent, marking the highest efficiency in the region.

According to Philippines News Agency, this recognition underscores the discipline and teamwork of PAL's entire organization, particularly their frontline teams who ensure safe and reliable operations daily. Lucio Tan III, president of PAL Holdings, Inc., emphasized the importance of collaboration with private sector partners and government support in achieving this milestone. He highlighted partnerships with entities such as MacroAsia Corporation, Lufthansa Technik Philippines, and New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation, among others.

PAL explained that Cirium's on-time performance program is considered the benchmark for airline reliability, using transparent and objective methodologies to track millions of flights globally. The airline reaffirmed its commitment to punctuality as a core value, made possible through coordinated efforts across various departments, including flight operations, engineering, and customer services.
