Mark Derick Gojo Cruz was instrumental in the victory, contributing 23 points, two rebounds, and two assists for the Altas. With this win, Perpetual topped Group A with a 9-4 record, earning a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals.
According to Philippines News Agency, Patrick Sleat supported the team effort with 14 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. Shawn Michael Rey Orgo added 10 points, while John Cedrick Abis contributed nine points. Perpetual is set to compete against the winner of the upcoming match between Arellano University and Letran in the semifinals.
Sleat emphasized the need for continuous improvement, stating, "Whatever we're doing, it's not enough. We have to add more to our games and put in the extra effort. We also have to grow, not just as individuals but as a team."
On the opposing side, Sean Salvador led JRU with 18 points, while Allen Laurenaria scored 16 points and collected 10 rebounds. Additional contributions came from Justin Lozano with 11 points and Ivan Clarence Panapaan with eight points. JRU concluded their season with a 6-8 win-loss record.
