Port of Clark Surpasses Revenue Targets with PHP2.765 Billion Collection

Port of clark: The Port of Clark has successfully exceeded its revenue target for the first half of 2026, achieving a collection of PHP2.765 billion, as reported by the Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Clark. This accomplishment marks an excess of PHP104.71 million over its initial goal for the period.

According to Philippines News Agency, the significant achievement is attributed to intensified anti-smuggling operations, which included the issuance of 51 Warrants of Seizure and Detention, resulting in the confiscation of smuggled goods valued over PHP614 million. District Collector Jairus Reyes highlighted the port's collaborative efforts with local stakeholders, including the Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council, Clark Development Corporation, LIPAD Corporation, and Air Express Cargo Operators, as a key factor in reaching this milestone. These partnerships have enabled logistics companies like FedEx and UPS to utilize commercial flights, thereby enhancing cargo connectivity.

The implementation of the MRO-FAST customs procedures has also expedited aircraft maintenance shipments, supporting Clark's ambition to become a leading air express sorting hub in Asia. The Port of Clark's success is further bolstered by reforms rooted in the Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) Movement under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno. These reforms focus on digital innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence, aligning with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s vision of a modern and efficient government.

Reyes expressed gratitude for the positive feedback from stakeholders within the Clark Freeport Zone, noting that the IAM Program has led to faster, more transparent, and responsive customs processes. To further modernization efforts, the port has introduced a Deliverables Tracker, a real-time digital dashboard for monitoring operational commitments, and QR code-enabled access to customs forms and requirements.

Additional advancements include the development of the Clark app, which will offer centralized access to customs procedures and services. The port has also enforced a Zero Pending Entries and Transactions Policy, extended processing hours, and maintained weekend and holiday operations to enhance public service. A tripartite agreement with LIPAD Corporation and the Korean Community Association in Central Luzon has improved passenger services by providing Korean interpreters at Clark International Airport.
