Manila: Most parts of the Philippines will continue to experience rains on Wednesday due to two prevailing weather systems. According to Philippines News Agency, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the Caraga region and Southern Leyte are expected to experience scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the shear line. Moderate to heavy rains are anticipated in these areas, raising concerns about potential flash floods or landslides. The northeast monsoon, known locally as "amihan," is forecasted to bring light rains across Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera region, Aurora, and Quezon, while other parts of Luzon and the Visayas may experience isolated light rains. In Mindanao, the rest of the region will see isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. The entire archipelago is expected to endure moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas. PAGASA also confirmed that no low-pressure area is being monitored for poten tial tropical cyclone formation.
