Manila: All services of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) can now be processed through its upgraded online ticketing system, which also allows the public to check in real-time the status of their inquiries or complaints.
According to Philippines News Agency, the SEC announced in a press release that the public can access the new iMessage system, launched on December 4, through the website. Users can utilize the platform with their account under the Electronic SEC Universal Registration Environment, known as eSECURE.
The SEC highlighted that this upgraded online system enables users to track the status of their tickets in real-time, and also allows them to directly check with the department or division processing their requests. SEC Chairperson Francis Lim emphasized that streamlining requirements and processes has been a top priority, aiming to improve the ease of doing business in the country and enhance the quality of public services.
Chairperson Lim further explained that iMessage aids the Commission in organizing and efficiently managing requests, inquiries, reports, and complaints. This enhancement facilitates timely service delivery to stakeholders while promoting transparency and accountability at every stage. Additionally, the transacting public can monitor the status of their inquiries, requests, or complaints in real-time, ensuring that their transactions are processed within prescribed periods and in accordance with established procedures.
