Manila: The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has announced a new deadline of January 30, 2026, for Yaman ng Kalusugan (YAKAP) clinics and Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment (GAMOT) package providers to renew their accreditation.
According to Philippines News Agency, the extension is intended to ensure that primary care services remain accessible without interruption. The additional time allows YAKAP clinics and GAMOT package providers to meet the accreditation requirements for the 2026 calendar year.
PhilHealth has made it clear that the deadline for other health facilities remains unchanged, set for January 14, 2026. The corporation will accept renewal applications from private health facilities that have not yet secured their 2026 business permits, along with YAKAP clinics that have not obtained their licenses for partner health service delivery support.
These facilities must submit their business permits and related licenses by March 31, 2026, to maintain their accreditation status. PhilHealth has cautioned that applications submitted after the deadline will be processed as re-accreditation requests, potentially causing a lapse in accreditation validity.
Health facilities that comply with the renewal deadline will retain continuous accreditation until PhilHealth reaches a decision on their applications.
