106 Most Wanted Arrested in Bicol

Bicol: The Police Regional Office (PRO) 5 in Bicol has successfully apprehended 106 of the region's most wanted individuals between November 17 and 23, as announced on Wednesday. The arrests included one fugitive at the regional level, two at the provincial level, 13 at the municipal level, and 90 at the local level, underscoring the efficacy of a coordinated, intelligence-driven effort.

According to Philippines News Agency, the regional-level fugitive was captured through the joint efforts of the Basud municipal police, Camarines Norte provincial police, and the provincial office of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group. The suspect, known by the alias Julius, was located and apprehended in Barangay Baclaran, Para±aque City. Julius is currently facing multiple serious charges, including six counts of Qualified Statutory Rape, one count of Attempted Qualified Statutory Rape with a PHP120,000 bail, and one count of Qualified Statutory Rape by Sexual Assault with a bail set at PHP200,000.

PRO-5 Director Nestor Babagay Jr. commended the officers involved for their professionalism and dedication. We continue to pursue criminals with precision and determination to protect every community in Bicol."
