Tarlac city: More than 7,000 low-income families in Tarlac province will benefit from affordable housing under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
According to Philippines News Agency, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development announced that Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta recently inspected Kaia Homes, a 49-hectare horizontal housing development in Barangay Armenia, Tarlac City. The officials toured the ongoing construction and model units to ensure the project delivers safe, decent, and affordable housing for Filipino families.
Regular inspections are being conducted to ensure compliance with quality standards. The project features the two-story Naya model with a 32-square-meter floor area. Inner units sit on 30-square-meter lots, while corner units occupy 41-square-meter lots. Each unit includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living area, and parking space for a motorcycle or e-bike.
The 49-hectare development will also include a playground, a multipurpose covered court, and open recreational spaces. As a subdivision-type project under the program, Kaia Homes Tarlac qualifies for Pag-IBIG Fund's subsidized interest rates, reducing monthly amortization costs for eligible buyers.
