According to Philippines News Agency, the Baby Falcons ended a two-game skid for a 4-2 record, surpassing last season's three wins in 14 matches. Adamson coach Dante Tongco expressed satisfaction with his team's resilience, stating, "For me, it shows their character that yes, we fumble and we falter but in the end, the guys will pick up and will try to win the game." Keefy Iledan was pivotal, leading Adamson with 19 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Vengcs Vengco added 13 points and seven rebounds. Jordan and Fran Flores each contributed 12 points. Kyle Abas scored 10 points, including a crucial free throw that tied the score at 76-all at the end of regulation, and also had eight rebounds, five blocks, and four steals. Goodluck Okebata's 22 points, 21 rebounds, five steals, two blocks, and two assists were not enough to secure victory for UE, which slid to fourth place with a 3-2 record.
In the other game, the University of Santo Tomas Tiger Cubs, led by Miguel Jubilado, bested the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles, 83-74. Jubilado shone with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists for UST, which now holds a 3-2 card. UST coach Noli Mejos appreciated his team's fourth-quarter performance, remarking, "I'm happy, especially with what they showed in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter is really crucial.
