Manila: Stefi Marithe Aludo defeated Jana Jelena Nicole Diaz, 6-4, 6-1, Saturday to reach the girls' singles final in the Oscar J. Hilado J60 World Tennis Championship Week 2 at Rizal Memorial Tennis Center in Manila. The victory set up the Philippine Tennis Academy member against top seed and first leg champion Lee Yerin of Korea, who beat compatriot Park Seojin, 6-4, 6-3, in the other semifinal match.

According to Philippines News Agency, Aludo, who bagged two bronze medals at the 2025 Thailand Southeast Games, hopes to avenge her 3-6, 0-6 loss to Lee in the first round last week. Meanwhile, first leg doubles champions Aludo and Jallorina beat Kimika Fukui of Japan and Han Frida Siu of Hong Kong to reach the semifinals. They will battle Indonesian Gwen Emily Kurniawan and Chinese Mengxi Sun, who ousted Filipino pair Kathlyn Ann Bugna and Maristella Torrecampo, 6-1, 6-4.

Diaz and Indonesian partner Assyifa Khansa Putri Raga also marched to the Final Four, beating Sorvisa Kulphisanrat and Paramee Tadkaew of Thailand, 6-0, 7-6 (2). Diaz and Raga will face top seeds Lee and Park, 6-2, 6-1, who won over Ai Shin Huang of Chinese Taipei and Xu Yishan of China.

In the boys' division semifinals, No. 2 Jian Huang of China whipped No. 7 Ribhav Saroha of India, 6-1, 6-1. In the finals, Huang will face No. 4 Yashwin Dahiya of India, who prevailed over Jack Cooper of Hong Kong, 6-3, 6-4.

In the doubles, top seeds Huang and Dahiya beat Masamune Matsumoto and Luke Morgan of Japan, 6-3, 6-0, to advance to the semifinals against Kenzo Marcus Brodeth and Steven Cabanilla, winners over Kousuke Ko of Chinese Taipei and Saroha, 3-6, 6-4, 10-7. Playing in the other semifinal match are second seeds Weibo Huang and Bing-Huan Tsai of Chinese Taipei against Filipinos John Kendrick Bona and Stephen Yu Fuertes. They advanced after Huang and Tsai downed Yo-Chi Chen of Chinese Taipei and Kang Daeheon of Korea, 6-1, 6-3; Bona and Fuertes booted out Vivaan Bidasaria and Aaradhya Mhasde of India, 6-4, 6-4.
