Cotabato City: The Ministry of Health-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM) has initiated the distribution of PHP62 million in vital medical resources, including ambulances and financial grants, to health stations across the region. This initiative aims to significantly improve healthcare access for residents, as confirmed by a top official.
According to Philippines News Agency, Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr., the minister of MOH-BARMM, stated that the turnover of these medical resources to various regional health stations began earlier this week, with the distribution process currently in progress. Several of these ambulances were funded through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) and Supplemental Funds from members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority. The distribution was formalized by a memorandum of understanding signed between MOH-BARMM and representatives from the recipient hospitals and health stations.
Dr. Sinolinding praised the regional parliament members for their cooperation with MOH in securing the necessary funds and resources to strengthen the region's healthcare sector. He emphasized that this collaborative effort is strategically designed to enhance healthcare accessibility and the quality of services, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes for the local population.
