Manila: The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Saturday reminded all registered foreign nationals in the Philippines of the mandatory conduct of the 2026 Annual Report, under Section 10 of Republic Act 562, also known as the Alien Registration Act of 1950, as amended.
According to Philippines News Agency, the bureau reiterated its call for strict compliance, emphasizing that the Annual Report is a crucial component of effective alien registration and immigration monitoring. Under the law, all registered aliens must report in person to the BI within the first 60 days of the calendar year, from January 1 to March 1.
Foreign nationals are required to complete the online registration through the BI e-services portal and present the necessary documents during reporting. These documents include a valid Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-Card) or original paper-based ACR, a valid passport, and the official receipt for the previous year's Annual Report fee.
The in-person Annual Report for the BI Main Office in Intramuros will take place at Robinsons Place Manila (3rd Level, Center Atrium) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. Meanwhile, qualified foreign nationals physically present in the Philippines and holding valid visas may opt for a virtual Annual Report system, available 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Registrants can complete the process online and pay the fees via Maya, GCash, credit card, or Landbank through the BI e-services platform.
The bureau also noted that all departing registered foreign nationals must settle their Annual Report obligations before obtaining an Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC-B), in compliance with immigration laws and regulations. Failure to comply with the Annual Report requirement may result in administrative fines or prosecution, in accordance with existing laws.
The public is advised to visit e-services.immigration.gov.ph for a complete list of participating BI offices and additional information.
