GSIS Honors MOLE-BARMM for Perfect 2025 Premium Remittance

Cotabato city: The Ministry of Labor and Employment in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOLE-BARMM) earned recognition from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) - Cotabato Branch for its exemplary public financial management, BARMM Labor Minister Muslimin Sema said Wednesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the recognition was held at the MOLE Regional Office inside the Bangsamoro government center here Tuesday. Sema said the ministry received the GSIS Top Performing Agency Award for 2025 after maintaining a perfect record of remitting GSIS premiums, with no delayed remittances throughout the year.

'The recognition supports the MOLE's efficient management of its statutory obligations and its sustained efforts to ensure that employees' GSIS contributions and benefits are promptly secured,' he said in a statement Wednesday. Sema received the certificate of recognition on behalf of the MOLE-BARMM from GSIS-Cotabato Branch Manager Alexis Arumpac, in the presence of Deputy Minister Tommy Nawa, Bangsamoro Director General Surab Abutazil, Jr., and other esteemed officials of both institutions.

Accepting the award, Sema thanked the GSIS for the recognition, highlighting that it reflects the ministry's commitment to accountability, fiscal responsibility, and timely employee obligations. He said the recognition also strengthens the ongoing partnership between MOLE and GSIS to promote efficient public financial management and ensure that government employees receive the benefits and protection they are entitled to through responsible governance.

Five other agencies in BARMM received similar recognition from GSIS. 'It proves the agency's financial discipline and deep concern for the welfare of its employees,' Arumpac said.
