Caraga: The Department of Health (DOH) has provided crucial medical assistance to approximately 5,821 individuals, or about 1,650 families, who are currently residing in evacuation centers throughout the Caraga Region.
According to Philippines News Agency, this initiative was undertaken following President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to prioritize the health and welfare of families displaced by Tropical Storm Verbena. The DOH Caraga has distributed essential health support, including medicines for common ailments such as coughs, colds, and fever, as well as first aid kits. Free medical consultations have also been conducted.
